Strathspey look to get off on the right foot Print
Strathspey Thistle have challenging pre-season games against full time opponents Ross County and Inverness CT this summer and to gear his players up for Saturday's visit of the Staggies, the Grantown Jags' boss Donly McLeod has fixed up this bounce match against amateur outfit Nethy Bridge.

Strathspey have brought Jason Hill, Simon Hill, Gordon MacDonald, Ross Mackenzie and Willie Ridgers into the club and all are expected to be involved. However, fellow new signing Scott Hendry is unavailable because of holidays.

The Jags will also run the rule over a clutch of trialists. A carful will travel up from Aberlour to be involved while trialist Kevin Mitchell will continue his quest to earn a contract with Strathspey if he has recovered from the knee injury he sustained during his first training session with the squad earlier in the summer. McLeod said:

"We need to have a game to get us going before the Ross County match so we've managed to organise one against Nethy Bridge. Of course, we then have Ross County on Saturday and that is going to be a difficult one so we needed another one to make sure we're up and running."
