Honours even at Kynoch Park Print
Keith opened the scoring in the seventh minute with makeshift centre forward Stuart Walker firing home an angled drive that left Blue Toon keeper Paul Jarvie helpless.  There was little in the way of goalmouth chances from then until the half hour mark when Gary Nicol tried to unlock the Peterhead defence but Phil McCall was unable to take advantage, slicing a left footed shot wide of the near post.

The visitors went close through a Bobby Mann free kick which zipped past Andy Shearers right hand post before a Jamie Lennox touch and shot from the edge of the penalty area brought out a good save from Jarvie low to his right.

The scores were levelled up five minutes before the break with a simple throw in routine.  David Donald's long throw was flicked on by Martin Bavidge and hooked overhead into the corner of the net by Dennis Wyness.

Keith responded almost immediately with Stuart Walker shimmying away from Stuart Smith on the right wing before delivering the perfect back post cross which was nodded home by Gary Nicol.

Peterhead opened the second half on the front foot and were level when Martin Bavidge drove to the byline and pinged a low ball across the face of goal which was turned in by Daniel Moore, who was there a millisecond before Dean Cowie.

As the legs began to tire we began to see more in the way of chances and both keepers were in action; Shearer making a fine stop from Martin Bavidge's volley from Daniel Moore's cross and Jarvie diving to deny Stuart Walker with another shot from range.

Full time: Keith 2 Peterhead 2
